Although Kim Murphy has a BS in Business Management from the University of Tampa, she maintains that everything she knows she learned homeschooling. Having utilized IEW's Structure and Style method in her own homeschool, she went on to teach at a homeschool co-op, a hybrid school, and in IEW Online classes. One of her favorite things is to watch a timid, unsure student flourish as he starts equipping his tool belt with style elements and learning to employ those tools with competence and confidence! She loves Jane Austen and travel and is a self-confessed "bird nerd." Kim has been married to Mike since 1988 and has two grown children.
